Hobbytwin is not a dating application. It is a social networking and skill-sharing platform that helps users connect based on shared hobbies, skills, and interests for the purpose of learning, teaching, and community-building.
Here’s a brief overview of how the app works:

Users search for any hobby, instrument, career skill, or even academic subject (e.g., astrophysics, piano, coding).

They select their skill level from one of five tiers:
Start, Beginner, Intermediate, Professional, or Ninja. -
Based on their level, they are either matched as:

A learner (Learn Tab), who can request lessons from more experienced users.

A mentor (Mentor Tab), who can connect with learners to teach or guide them.

In other words:
Once you land on our app’s homepage, you can search for any hobby, instrument, career, or even a degree (e.g., astrophysics). Then, select your skill level from one of our five levels: Start, Beginner, Intermediate, Professional, or Ninja.
Based on the skill level you choose, you’ll either become a student or a mentor.

If you select “Start” or “Beginner” for a skill, it will appear in your Learn Tab.
For example, if you choose “Start” for Astrophysics, that becomes a skill you’re learning. We’ll match you with professionals in Astrophysics who can mentor you, and you’ll be able to request lessons from them. -
If you select “Intermediate,” “Professional,” or “Ninja” for a skill, it will appear in your Mentor Tab.
For instance, if you add “Bass Guitar” and choose “Professional,” it means you can mentor beginners in that skill. We’ll match you with users who selected “Start” or “Beginner” for Bass Guitar, and you’ll be able to invite them to lessons.
You can also use filters to choose who you want to request lessons from, based on your preferences and location.

Matches are shown with filtering options (e.g., distance, skill level, location) so that you can explore your interests with the people closest to you.

Users can schedule lessons, meet in real life or virtually, and share photos or videos related to the activity, or as they explore with their matches.

The social feed allows users to document and share their learning journey with others who share the same interests.
Hobbytwin covers a wide range of interests and skills, from traditional hobbies and musical instruments to academic subjects and professional development. The goal is to create a space where people can connect meaningfully over mutual skills, interests, careers & passions, and grow together.
Users can even submit new interests to the admin for approval, and once accepted they become searchable to everyone on the network.
To confirm again: Hobbytwin is not intended for dating, and no dating features or romantic matchmaking tools are included.
