Hobbytwin is a vibrant community built on the simple idea that hobbies bring people together. Whether you’re an avid hiker, a dedicated knitter, a tabletop gamer, or an aspiring chef, you can find your people here. Our goal is to create a fun, safe, and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome to be themselves, discover new interests, and build meaningful relationships.

These guidelines are designed to ensure that everyone has a positive experience on and off the app. By using Hobbytwin, you agree to follow these rules. Not adhering to them may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban.

Our Core Principles:

Respect Personal Boundaries. Our community thrives on mutual respect. We do not allow sexually explicit content, nudity, or propositions for sexual encounters on public profiles. In private chats, consent is key. Always respect the comfort levels of others and remember that not everyone is here for the same reasons.
Be Cautious and Mindful When Sharing. Your safety is our priority. Do not publicly display personal contact information like phone numbers, email addresses, or social media handles on your profile. Protect your private details, such as bank account numbers or passwords, and never share them with anyone you meet online. Be vigilant against scams; if someone asks you for money or financial information, report them immediately.
No Room for Hate or Violence. Hobbytwin is a place of positivity and exploration. We have zero tolerance for violent, hateful, or harmful content. This includes images or descriptions of violence, self-harm, weapons, or cruelty to animals. We are committed to fostering an environment free from harassment, bullying, threats, and discrimination of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, discrimination based on a person’s race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or health status. If you don’t connect with someone, simply unmatch and move on.
Connect Over Hobbies, Not Commerce. Hobbytwin is for making genuine connections, not for business. Do not use your profile or chats to advertise, promote products or services, sell items, fundraise, or solicit. The app is not a platform for any form of compensated relationships or escort services. Let’s keep the focus on our shared hobbies.
Authenticity is Key. We want to connect with the real you. Do not create fake profiles or pretend to be someone you’re not. Your genuine self is the most valuable asset you have in building authentic connections within the hobby community.
Lead with Kindness. When engaging with fellow hobbyists, always communicate with respect. Harassment, threats, blackmail, and doxing are strictly prohibited. We encourage you to pause and reflect if a conversation becomes heated. If you experience harmful behavior, report it. We are here to help.
Prioritize Safety. Any action, whether on or offline, that is intended to harm another user will be taken seriously. Your well-being is our top concern. If you have been harmed, please take care of yourself first and foremost. Then, consider reporting the incident to us so we can take appropriate action and protect our community.
Hobbyists 13 and Older. Hobbytwin is for users aged 13 and up. We do not allow photos of unaccompanied minors or anyone under the age of 13.
Abide by the Law. Illegal activities and content are strictly forbidden. You cannot use Hobbytwin to buy or sell illegal goods, solicit criminal acts, or engage in human trafficking.
One Hobbyist, One Account. To ensure a safe and fair experience, each person is allowed only one Hobbytwin account. Sharing accounts or having multiple profiles is not permitted.
Post Your Own Content. Only share content that belongs to you or for which you have explicit permission. Do not post private messages or copyrighted material from others without their consent.
Be a Valued Member of Our Community. Use Hobbytwin responsibly and help us keep it a positive place. Do not spam, spread misinformation, create mass accounts, or use third-party apps to manipulate the system. Do not file false or malicious reports.
Stay Active to Stay Connected. To remain visible in the app, please log in to your account at least once every two years. Inactive accounts may be deleted to keep our community vibrant and up-to-date.

Reporting a Violation

Your voice helps keep our community safe. If you see or experience any behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. Your report is confidential and helps us maintain a secure and friendly environment for all hobby enthusiasts.

Our Commitment to You

We take our Community Guidelines seriously and will investigate all reports thoroughly. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may issue a warning or take stronger action, including account suspension or termination. We reserve the right to remove any account for behavior that we deem inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of our guidelines or Terms of Use.
