Summary of Terms

Before using Hobbytwin, you must read and accept our Terms of Use (the “Agreement”), as it serves as the official binding contract between you and the company. To make things easier to read and understand, we’ve included brief summaries at the start of each section. Keep in mind that these summaries don’t replace the full text of the section, so you should still read everything carefully.

Acceptance

By using the Services, you’re agreeing to our User Agreement, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Tips, and any terms related to your in-app purchases.

Eligibility

Before you create an account, you must meet certain requirements. For example, you must be at least 12 years old and not a registered sex offender or convicted felon. Check the full agreement for all the rules.

Modifying the Services; Termination

We might change the Services at any time or stop offering them entirely. You can close your account in the Settings, and we have the right to close it for you if you violate the Agreement or if we think your use of the Service is inappropriate.

Content

You are responsible for the Content you upload or provide while using our Services. You are not allowed to post anything illegal or inappropriate. You do not have any rights to our content or to other people’s content.

Desktop Services and Development Status

Hobbytwin might offer desktop versions in the future. Some features are still being developed and might not be fully available yet. We’re constantly improving the service, so expect ongoing changes and testing. We’re not responsible for any issues that come up during these development phases.

Data Backup and Content Retrieval

Hobbytwin is not a backup service. You’re responsible for keeping your own copies of any content you upload. While we might keep deleted content for legal reasons, you won’t be able to get it back without a proper legal process, like a court order. We don’t currently have ads, but that could change. Always keep backups of your important data because we can’t guarantee permanent storage or retrieval.

Safety

Hobbytwin isn’t responsible for what its users do, and we don’t perform background checks. Please be careful and make sure to read and follow our Safety Tips when you interact with people, whether on or off of Hobbytwin.

Rights

Hobbytwin gives you the right to use our Service in the way this Agreement allows. You also give Hobbytwin a license to use Your Content, which includes the right to display your profile.

Rules

The full Agreement lists all the rules you agree to follow when using Hobbytwin, such as not asking other users for money, not harassing others, and not using the Service for any illegal purpose.

In-App Purchases

Hobbytwin may offer virtual items for sale through mobile app stores like Google Play and the Apple App Store. The terms of those stores will apply to your purchases. Most purchases cannot be refunded unless the law requires it, and some purchases, like subscriptions, will automatically renew until you cancel them.

Copyright

If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on the Service without your permission, please send a notice to our Copyright Agent following the instructions in the Agreement.

Disclaimers

Our Service is provided “as is,” and we do not guarantee its quality, safety, or reliability. We are not legally responsible for these things.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we limit our liability to you for certain kinds of damages related to your use of the Service, the behavior of other users, and unauthorized access to your Content. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us.

Arbitration

Our Agreement includes a mandatory arbitration clause. You agree that any disputes will be settled by arbitration, and you give up your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class-action lawsuit. This rule does not apply to users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or anywhere else where it’s against the law.

Governing Law; Venue

Texas law applies to this Agreement. Legal actions for disputes related to this Agreement must be filed in Dallas, Texas. Users in the European Economic Area can file claims in their home country.

Indemnity

You agree to protect us from legal claims that arise because of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of this Agreement.

Special Terms

There are additional special terms that apply to residents of certain countries and U.S. states. You can find more details in the Agreement.
